Manual Install

Follow the steps below if you would like to manually install your PURL campaign on your server.

1. Create Campaign

Select the New Campaign button from the campaigns drop-down.

2. Select Manual Install

Under Use Your Domain, select Manual Install.

Campaign Name: This can be anything that you would like.

Site URL: This is the website URL of the site where you will be installing your PURL campaign.  For example, if your PURL was going to be http://example.com/Joe.Smith, the Site URL would be http://example.com

When completed, select to View Install Instructions. 

3. Install Campaign

On the Install Instructions screen, follow the 3 steps provided to complete the install. 

  1. Download the landing page files.
  2. Unzip and upload both the folder and it's contents to your public root directory (where your home page file is located on your server.)
  3. Copy the code and place it into the .htaccess file located in your public root directory.
    If there is no .htaccess file, you can simply create a new file, name it .htaccess and paste the PURL code into it.
